Key Performance Areas

  • Finance – optimal management of financial assets ensuring value for money, effective cost management and robust financial controls
  • Human Resources – oversee human resources functions ranging from talent acquisition and management, compensation and HR information systems
  • Fundraising – design, implement and leverage fundraising plans and initiatives to support key programs
  • Administration – ensure sound corporate governance by, amongst other things, making sure policies and procedures are relevant, up-to-date and adhered to across the organization
  • National Leadership – serve as a member of Senior Management Team and provide direct support to the Country Director
  • International Leadership – contribute to International Leadership Meetings, representing the relevant functional areas

Qualification, Experience and SKills

  • Degree or equivalent in management, finance or other relevant subject
  • Qualified finance professional with 5-10 years’ relevant experience
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Solid leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and problem-solve across a variety of issues
  • Comfortable and professional in situations which require high levels of confidentiality or sensitivity
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), online conferencing platforms, and accounting systems
  • Commitment to accuracy and a strong sense of personal and professional ethics
  • Passion for the mission of Sentebale
